†Jesus The Master Of Sin†

†

I’m Jesus, see-

I’ve left my kingdom

When you called me

To save you...

To carry the sin

You have kept within

I’m Jesus, see-

I came down from heaven

To set you free

But when I lifted my eyes

To your heavenly face

You captured my divinity

Into your green crystal moon

And left me to swim and sink

Swim-and-Sink

Into your ocean of sin

I drank your ocean

And I’ve become-

The master of sin!

But all I got from

Your ocean is--

Loaves-and-fish

Moons-and-rivers

Written on my heart

Ringing in my ears

Not enough to feed my

Hunger and selfishness

Your voice is a crown of thorns

Inside of my head

Poking my thoughts out

To bleed silent ink

Your silence is a loud whip

Falling on my naked heart

And your breeze is my shadow

You made my mother

Cry and grief too

Wearing the dark dress

Knelt to the cross

At the punishment hills

In aches and sorrow

When death dwelt my body

For I’m a sinner

I’m Jesus, see-

The scar you've gifted me–

Between my ribs

Still bleeding--

Bleeding silent ink

Do you still have a doubt

That I’m Jesus?

Do you still have a doubt

That I’ve become...

The master of sin?

Here...

Reach my hands

And touch the scars

See my blood

Flowing~ in your name

Between my fingertips

And the cross lines

The cross that you gave me

To carry on my heart

The cross that you gave me

To write off my debts

For I am...

The Master of Sin.

-Taste my voice and touch my soul, and you shall feel my eternity within you-

"Come on dude,

just smoke a little."

Jesus wasn't sure his father would

approve,

but then again,

he was tired of wondering

what his dad would

think.

He took the blunt and

inhaled deeply.

His friend, Judas,

was watching curiously.

Jesus held his breath

and released the smoke

in a white puff,

like a natural.

"Dude, are you

sure you haven't

done this before?"

Jesus grinned, took another

swig of Smirnoff.

Suddenly

Judas nudged him. "Hey,

look over there. I think she

likes you."

Across the fire pit,

between cawing

tipsy

small town teenagers,

sat a girl with

fair hair

and droopy eyes.

When she noticed Jesus

looking at her,

she stood up

with her eyes on

him

and began

to dance,

the light of the flames

dancing on her

skin.

Jesus watched her

intently,

the coals stirring.

He swore he could

hear music,

fast and

heated.

She motioned to him

with her hips.

"Dude," Judas breathed

in awe,

"she wants you."

Without a second

thought, he

stumbled to her

blindly,

tunnel vision obscuring

everything

besides the lamb-like

face and

creamy skin.

She took his

hand and

led him away

from the hoots and

howls of

the circle of

drunk kids

christening

the freedom of

youth.

"I-

I have a car,"

he managed,

jingling his dad's car keys

in his trembling

fingers.

She smiled

wordlessly,

let him guide the

way.

As he slid her

panties off,

which were even softer

and prettier

than he imagined,

he remembered he

hadn't really

expected this.

"Hey, I don't have

any condoms."

She studied him intently

for a moment and

then shook her head

silently,

the halo of hair

shimmering

in the dim slanted

moonlight.

Jesus sighed,

began to berate

himself internally,

until a deep soft

kiss pulled him

back to shore.

"I don't

mind," she said.

She smirked.

"By the way,

since you didn't

ask,

my name is

Mary."

He blushed,

embarrassed he forgot

to ask

in the rush of the

moment.

Then he kissed her and

forgot about it.

After that night,

he never saw her

again.

He asked Judas about her,

but Judas just shrugged.

"I don't know, dude.

She doesn't go to

our school so

I haven't seen her

either.

Actually, last I heard,"

he said,

his voice lowering to a

conspiratorial whisper,

"she got an abortion

and her family moved

away

out of shame."

"Oh," was all he

could say.

His chest felt like a

desert,

his lungs shriveling into

dust

with each inhale.

He was pretty sure he

loved her

more than he had

ever loved

anyone.

Judas clapped him

on the back.

"Don't sweat it,

dude.

That's just how it is

in a small town

like this."

Jesus knew he was

right.

In a small town

like this,

everyone pretends to be

a saint

and scorns

the so-called

sinner,

even though they're

sinners

just the same

in the eyes of

God.

Still bone, still flesh.

He made them believe

In things so pretty and white

And they died for him

One by one

Sacrified

Clean of their sins

Sins that never existed

In the first place

Who was he to judge?

Who was he to love?

He was but a devil like us all

Another brother amongst crowds

A savior is what they called his body

Still flesh

Still bone

Still marrow and black

To the core

A sinner

A liar

An enchanter

A sinner like me

That's what the man was

And always will be

Fantastic Lie

Jesus kissed the dust,

Jesus had dirty feet -

He smelled like a camel,

His eyes didn’t sleep

but they had great black rings around them.

He knew the first sin,

Hands on his hips, laughing at the sun-

Adam? he thought to himself,

I’ll do it even better.

He’d slept on a mountain, he’d looked for God,

But there were wood shavings in his eyes and nose,

Only his father,

His mother,

Sometimes an old priest

Rambling about the good old days.

I’ll bring it back, Jesus whispered

Confidentially,

Eyes lowered,

I know how.

From the empty, heavy, dusty Egyptian air

He yanked nothing, he took it in his hand,

Just so much wind,

And he said,

“I am the Word!”

It was the truth, he -

And his fellows -

They were the Word

So he must destroy them.

He could have been forgiven,

Just for saying it first,

Just by showing them the nature of the truth!

But he twisted it, out of all proportion,

Like all great truths.

The Word came to Judea like a hurricane,

Destroying homes and ideas,

Trailing blood in its wake,

It said, “I am the Word!”

And it added:

“-and only me.”

Jesus was happy to die

For his fantastic lie.

Hung up on the cross he saw

For years and centuries

The men that would never know-

and for that, they deserved their lives,

Their slow misery,

The hell they trusted so fondly.

Jesus had been there a long time ago -

But he was a snake then,

Just a clever animal,

Cursed for being better than a rat.

Pick Up Line

"Hey Mary," Jesus began his 'sure bet'

"Wanna see how to really clean my feet?"

He thrust his toe between that prostitute's legs

And said, "Let's see you get them wet!"

Godspell

Whose flesh is on her body

Taste perfect and holy

His hair brushes upon her breast

Those beautiful eyes starts to hypnotize

A lustful grin and fast heartbeat on his chest

The heat on his skin, the cruel of this sin are started to impress

His sweet and wild lips wonder all over her skin

Create goosebumps and a joy feel

Forget about hell and the stupid fire

Burning their body in a wild desire

Ignore about a tenet

Disregard within the law of human and god

And begin to hear the moan of the god

A godspell

This is the time you must not forget

When Jesus begged for her touch

When the Christ throwed his bible for her virgin body

When the Messiah teared up the truth and tainted the holy

This is his sin

But this is also his Godspell to begin
