Sprite-sized vistas loom

above each sea scented wavelet, 

I smile, imagine

sand specks are lush caravans, 

as a seashell palace looms.

I thrive in the sun

Lizard basking on warm rock

Waves of light fill me

Heat stimulates the senses

I become one with the world

Each and every day,

When the sun won't go away,

Makes my world brighter

Smile lighter than air,

Warm with my skin bare.

Delighting without a care!

Sea nymphs serenade

scant seconds of passing sun

ocean waves crashing

ripe skins lose waning luster

fleeting memory fragrance.

Violets bloom purple,

and bees pick pollen under

the burning sunshine.

Children scurry on sidewalks,

freedom for all the season.

Sounds of laughter

and laziness 

sparking joy.

Adults gazing onto childhood.
