kindness is often
readily dismissed as an
outdated habit
Thereʼs only one way to rid of hate
In ones heart
Begins within us all
When the brimstone cools,
And wrinkled men choke on ash,
Mother earth can sing.
With only one pick,
What could I do?
But hope and pray for bloodshed no more.
Grab the little babes
And paint their toes in virtue
Watch the rest die off
May the Light shine forth
free us from the grave of souls
Scales pried from all eyes
Eradicate hate,
Replace with LOVE for mankind,
Embrace diverse minds.
Look through your brother's
eyes. Feel with your brother's heart.
Try to understand.
To repair the world
An unlikely endeavor
Where's that red button?
I'd set back the clock,
to sepia summer days,
when no one was scared.
