Lady in Red

Oh pretty lady, slip your red panties on

slink into red dress – silk stroking every curve

swivel provocatively as you sashay into my view

come hither look flushing erotic cheek bones

pout ruby lips blowing crimson kisses my way

slather lotion the length of long luscious legs

dab exotic wafts of perfume behind sultry ears

we’re going dancing tonight, hot mama

so swirl your stuff, rhumba lush tush to your rhythm

draw all eyes in the room to undulating Latina hips

scream your passionate fervor in red mist cloud

electrify my feelings of mounting excitement

heat wafting from your core bounces back to my body

emanating arousal as you imbibe from deep wells of lust

inhaled for steamy survival, oh you’re scorching hot

let’s tango our way home, remove your red dress

leave the red lace panties on, the color of sex.

and trust me, sexy lady, I’ll do the rest.

How to Sea Color

Deep in the ocean dark

Where the fog refuses to part

Churning chasms of secrecy

Hiding all we cannot see

Where the sun refuses to shine

Where all is murky brine

That is where the color lies

And all the fears go to die

When sea-foam green is all too wrong

So the deepest teal makes its home

Black

The color of endless possibilities

The night sky

Begging for stars

Galaxies

Demanding to be explored

It is the color

Of us

Dark hair and darker eyes

He is the king of contrast

Meant for the queen of elegance

In this kingdom

That does not require light

For black is the color

That absorbs all that shines

Yellow

It is bright

It is bold

It is warm

It makes joy unfold.

It reminds me of linens hanging in the light of day....

Or lemons, but it is the lemonade.

Sunlight and Plants

Ferns delicately unfurling in the soft light,

The tallest of trees, sturdy and wise,

Adorned with velvet mosses

And tiny white flowers, like a crowd of queens adorned with dresses and gold

Quiet, slightly humid,

The feeling of feeling alive as cool air fills the lungs,

Reviving every neuron

Like water filling a thirsty sponge

It's so peaceful,

With the birds singing their quiet lullaby

To the fungi and the leaves carpeting the ground

And the small insects singing back softly, heard but never seen-

This beautiful forest,

This clean air,

This wonderful dream-

This is why my favorite is green.

Purple

It's the color of of memories

The color of blooming thyme in the backyard

and the sun streaked sky

stretched over the lavender fields

And my crocs, the ones that were always next to yours

It's warm, but not burning

Welcoming, yet a little guarded

Truth

The color is you.

It's you I love as red.

Hiding your blush as you turn your head.

It's you I long for in gray.

Hoping our time together never fades away.

It's you I see as black.

During our first dance with your black tie and top hat.

It's you I feel in green.

Jealous beyond reason at any little thing.

It's you who loves me as blue.

Remembering the blue promise ring you placed on my finger.

Our lives and love's memory based in colors.

Dearly I love them all and can't wait to share another color, love and memory.

Pink

Pink is the child of red and white,

It truly is a pretty sight!

Soft as the blush on a baby's cheek,

Sweet as the language that lovers speak.

Warm as the touch of somebody's skin,

Tastes like fresh peaches (not from a tin).

It's palest tones chase my blues away,

It's brightest shades bring me joy,

I don't care what any of you say,

Pink looks good on girl or boy!

Vibrant but not painful to the eyes

Unnamed but unmistakable

Not red, not pink, not purple

It is something in between

That hit the sweet spot for me

It wakes me up as I swim through

dull and gray words on white pages

It gives me energy to keep going on

How does a colour be so elegant yet so sweet

I can never get bored of it!
