Dolls

I walk through the twisting halls

The never ending halls

Wait- someone calls

Coming from a room

That's filled with dolls

I open the door

-I don't know what for

I see a covered floor

Covered with dolls

I search for the voice

That caused that noise

-that wasn't a smart choice

All I see are dolls

The same voice calls

I slam the door and race down the halls

The never ending halls

(Little boy walking into his sisters room. She's playing with her dolls)

Shy

To wander through the forest of people is difficult you see.

For those old eyes are all looking forward so they do not see me.

Their strides are so long and they are walking so fast

They do not even realize that it is me they just passed

But when one of them notice they become boisterous and loud.

They shout how adorable I am over the noises of the crowd.

Behind my mothers sturdy legs I do run and flee.

Because if I cannot see them they cannot see me.
