Pitch Black

With him they buried my will to live and my world became just as black as if I were in the coffin with him.

Every bitter feeling that has ever existed, rising to the surface and bubbling over in your mind until you are eaten away with pure remorse

Packed to the brim with mummers of, "did he know how much he was loved?" whispered from the tongues of frauds.

Rows of sadness

People sitting and crying for someone that used to be there to love them

What she would have wanted.

If we closed our eyes and held hands tight we could imagine that instead of the sterile room with hard backed chairs, instead of the bad makeup and frumpy dress, instead of the generic brown casket and slide show we were all sitting on the shore, the long boat drifting away, the fire catching, the Viking drums beating like the heartbeat of the world.
