Why Am I Still On Prose.? BECAUSE IT’S TOO DARN ADDICTIVE

I’m drowning in flashcards, oh no!

This definitely isn’t for show!

I have no time,

To make this rhyme,

But I did it so!

Limerix

I'm thinking in space and in time,

Both are needed to make this thing rhyme,

But should it fall flat,

I'll leave it at that,

And admit the fault is all mine.

When Queens Land

The cross dressers trip to Australia

Turned into an absolute failure

For when his thong twanged

And his skirt boomeranged

There was proof of his male genitalia...

Are they?

"Are humans nefarious?"

The little boy asked furious

"They kill animals to eat"

"Killing is bad,isn't it?"

I stared at the boy with such wit

"Answer please,for i am curious!"

A Limerick from Carlow

Oh the ice cream t'was oh so yummy,

I ate so much I got a pain in my tummy...

I wish I'd just had one bowl,

Cause now it's coming out through me hole,

Why didn't I just listen to mummy?

Survivor

I stand alone in an empty field,

My fingers gripping a battered shield,

Lost amidst the bodies of my friends,

Thinking about how badly ends

The lives of those who will not yield.

These men gave their lives to be free,

To fight for the rights of you and me,

But I yet live, it’s so not fair,

But ending it myself, I do not dare,

For my love I want to see.

I’ll learn to live with surviving a war,

With the woman I adore

By my side through the thick and thin,

Helping me bear the weight of the cardinal sin

Of being the last soldier knocking on Heaven’s door.

The Big One

There was a young man called Bing

Eating competitions were his thing

He ate too much meat

Got piles on his seat

So his cushion was a rubber ring

He would eat hotwings, hotdogs and so on

Not stopping till his gut was swollen

All that food amassed

And little was passed

Until he had a garden hose for a colon

Bing died after eating The Big One

His heart stopped when he was done

Funeral plans left in his will

Gave his fans a thrill

Chargrilled and laid to rest on a bun

Victim of Deceit

The sun hits the ground I walk,

My shoes are dirty, so is my sock.

The air heavy, too thick to breathe,

Always me they want to deceive,

Painfully watching as they mock.
