Unmarked grave

A raven perches upon the lifeless branch

Calling for you

Laughing at your weakness

As you tremble at the iron gates

Small steps inching forward in the darkness

Shovel in hand

Digging your own grave

Collapsing in exhaustion

Buried under its weight

You are the forgotten

Skeleton

That's still walking

Sin of the Night

The majestic moon watches the night,

She says, "I don't understand why this is when they fight.

I provide beauty.

I provide light.

If only I could shine more bright.

If only I could be like the sun again.

Saving the stars from seeing sin."

This Madness

A darkened sky,

Hangs above my head,

The horrors of this present society,

Swarm all around me.

Where will it end?

And how far will this madness go,

Before we all see that something must be done?

But by then,

It will be too late.

Be there...

In life don't fall for anyone,

Stand strong and give them something to lean on!

Together/Separately

The spider and I walk together

on a shared yet separate path

both forever yielding

for the other one to pass.

Side by side we travel

the spider and the sparrow

he on his path, me on mine

we walk the straight and narrow.

Memory

My memory goes back long ago. I can remember the smell of the covers at home. I can recall the feeling of the tub water on my back and the sensation of the summer sun. I can hear the words of my parents calling.

What keeps me going is home.
