A raven perches upon the lifeless branch

Calling for you

Laughing at your weakness

As you tremble at the iron gates

Small steps inching forward in the darkness

Shovel in hand

Digging your own grave

Collapsing in exhaustion

Buried under its weight

The majestic moon watches the night,

A darkened sky,

Hangs above my head,

The horrors of this present society,

Swarm all around me.

Where will it end?

And how far will this madness go,

Before we all see that something must be done?

The spider and I walk together
