Heartbreak Beat

the sun that sets

to break the dawn

hot cup cooled

cold glass waits

tap the keys

to burn off the

film

that builds

just like stones

stacked

that build a dam.

old songs play

to keep the flesh

clean

to keep the night

on fire

fanned

with words

and beats

full with time

stolen back.

Signs

Dare I speak of it? Dare I tell of the thought that weighs down on me? Should I?

I fear that we are in for some bad news! This thing that went down in France will no doubt be just the tip of what is a sore time for us all.

The signs are that we are in too deep, and that the time will soon be with us all when free speech will be put to a stern test.

I pray I'm wrong in this, I pray I'm wrong.

pond

shines

of

fish

scales

their

world

is

small

why

should

that

stop

them?

The First

She thought of him,

And thought of his words.

She thought of his last words.

She thought of his last breath.

She thought of his last grasp.

She thought of his last gasp.

She could not think.

She could not think of him.

She could not think of what she had done.

It would just bring tears.

And guilt.

Oh, how it would bring guilt.

For he was the first one that she had killed.

No Name

I want you bad. So why can't you see that? I can not stand up to the same stage your friends have made. So, I give up on the thought of me- with you. But yet, I still want you, and I can't seem to let go of my hope.

Old man

Green of eye and heart

Keep her of the lost

Sells fish

To the sail fish

Not a crab but will grab

All that he can get

Peas In Pods

You love me.

I love you.

We are mates of the soul.

I'll be with you.

You'll be with me,

When we both are old.

Adrenaline

My heart beats like the beat of a song.

My mind drives like a car on the street.

My eyes dash like one who sprints with speed.

My hands shake like a child in the cold.

One syllable words...

Can I speak my mind? Is all the time gone? Will I spend more of my life in pain? Or is there more out there?

The OTHER, CREEPIER guy who always tries to get in my pants at work (sequel to The creepy guy at McDonald’s)

Oh my God.

Such grace, as she trays my food.

I wish I could touch her butt when she walks by but I feel like she'd slap me in the face...

Which I get.

Boy, I'd love to just have her sit on my lap-

'Here's your food sir.'

Why thank you babe. Oh, just one thing...

'Yes?'

Could you do me a favor and wear a shirt that fits you more snug around the chest-

Oh crap. She went and got her boss.
