Poem is a work of art filled with emotions. It gives me peace and satisfaction to be able to express my feelings in written words when I am flooded and, I know my pen is the best person to understand. All the words here have depth and like any piece of art the meaning is how your mind sees it.

Illusional Love

On the shattered glass I stand

Indifferent to myself

Don't feel the anguish, the pain

In so much distrust

Couldn't tell if it hurts

Then there's a slight sensation

On my fingers

Soon I realize someone is holding my hand

Numbness pased away and now I could feel

Healing the wounds

Melting this frozen heart

Detoxifying me

Changed the perception

For love, for life

Taught me there's more meaning to it

Love does exist

It can be selfless

It can be unconditional

It is not a dream, not a miracle

It is a blessing, it is bliss

Experiencing the wonders

I get lost in the maze

Standing on the soft grass

Now, even this 'feels' hurtful!

Tainted!

Blemished by your thoughts,

Treated as material

Vandalized by you

No more aesthetical.

You said already speckled it was

This was what it deserved

Unveiled the flaws

Forbidden to be touched.

Perhaps you saw just the superficial

Forgetting that this is an attire

The visible is not the real

Tainted was the surface.

Hideousness lay in your eyes

Couldn't see through

It was all a lies

Spirit beneath was serene

Out of your reach

'cause you have to have a heart

Virtuousness you cannot breach

With the impure insight.

World may see a marred face

Cursed is everyone with the blind gaze

Still alive in the dreadful space

The soul remains Untouched...

Deep Desire

On this endless journey

I walk on the road

Appeared from the mists ahead

Towards me someone strode.

Portrayed enigma

Was different and unfathomable

Yet there was something

That was adorable.

To be there by my side

For so many miles

On this not so easy way

To be the reason for thousand smiles.

I treasure all those moments

Petty arguments, silly talks

The 'make you feel awkward' dinner dates

The 'always short of time' long walks.

Teasing you, pulling your leg

The victorious joy of quietening you

Then the unexpected turning of tables

Again looking for something new.

Forgetting things

Failed efforts to recall

Feeling embarassed

Why can't I remember it all!

Regardless of all my idiocies

You forgive, you tolerate

A person so wonderful

A friend so great.

With each step

The bond grows stronger

Heart desires and mind asks

Couldn't forever be longer?!!

The Cry of Woe

They say I am brave I am strong

Do they know they are wrong?!

Shattered from the inside

Struggling each moment to hide

Swallowing on my tears

Wishing for someone to vanish my fears

Obscure future and faded memories

Lucidity clouded with worries

A pretence of indifference

Disguising my fragile emotional sense

Yearning for a wisp of light

Someday the dawn will break this night.

Red Silence

At the dawn when a bird chirps

The ecstatic dew drops on the petals

The quiet & beautiful view

The serene nature welcomes a day new...

Far away, in a distant world

I am happy to see the sun rise again

Can't say if I will see the sunset today

Its not a different day!

When power, religion, politics

are the only words that world understands

When the next moment

Someone will say Goodbye

And there's no reason why.

Standing in the midst of corpses

My heart terrifed with fear

No! They don't have a name

I wonder 'Why?!' if  we all bleed the same!

Agitated

A deep sea, a dense forest

Turbulence and turmoil in there

Yet appear in harmony the entities nest

Only the waves I can see, the rustling leaves I can hear

They surround me and babble

Not a single word I understand

In a swarm, still alone I travel

Searching for someone whose language I could comprehend

Its been a long time on this quest

Seems it will never end & this soul will be laid at rest.

aNaToMy

Oh this horrific web of complicated structures

Has put on my mind bruises and ruptures

Even did He not think

And man was ready in just a blink

But a foolish man He made

Went to know the recipe laid

The ingredients on his own he named

And then he gamed

Was a tough task for this little mind

Each name is new every time I discover and I find

Nevertheless I try harder and harder to remember

Still in a deep slumber , today January, tomorrow December.
