Change.
Today starts a new chapter.
A new place to call home.
Something new.
Something different.
For the first time this one is all my own.
I am excited.
I am hopeful.
It's my very own kind of perfect.
So why am suddenly I scared to death?
Thrilled sounds so good but remember we call horror movies thrillers too.
Life is good, I am happier than ever.
This is simply a fear of the unknown.
Certain I am going to be alright.

Morning beach.
Feet in the sand
its been too long
waves washing over my toes
heels sinking in
It's like I never left
morning sun shining through the mist and the cloud
a dim light, a haze, a light breeze with a chill
hands in my sweater
no one around
seagulls swaying in the distance
waves coming in
otherwise quiet
walking slowly
at my own pace
deep breathe and a smile
this is where I find myself
this is where I can think
this is my place
my haven
my escape.
