Peachy lips

Cold stare

Freckled skin

Features that once marked me

now flutter trough my head

They want to run away

But I grasp them as tightly as I can

Because I don't wanna let go of the

Mess

They say the chemicals in my brain are not okay

They are a mess and dance uncoordinated to the hum of my thoughts.

I have little of the ones that make you happy

So they give me happy pills.

They say I'll get better, that the chemicals will dance in the routine soon.

But they don't know I like them messy.

Growing up. What a scary concept

Growing up.

What a scary concept that is.

Can I stay a kid forever? Live like Peter Pan.

Fly through the air with the help of fairy dust, share drunken kisses with the mermaids and have my own bunch of lost boys.

Of course, that's not possible. We all wish for it, though. But we quickly forget the childish fantasies as life slaps us in the face, and leaves a permanent mark.

That mark is a reminder. That as much as you wish to run away from time, the clock will get you. It'll pick you up with its calloused hands and shake you. Shake all the dreams and stupid hopes out.

"Conform!" - it screams.

"Accept it!" - it snarls.

I'm tired of this fight.

It's a fight has old as time. I'm not the first one fighting it.

Many have given up, many have died fighting.

Wendy's words echo trough my brain.

"But, Mother, I don't want to grow up."

In the end, she conformed. She decided it was best to grow up.

And maybe growing up is not that bad. Maybe wonderful things await me. But not knowing... oh not knowing kills me.

Uncertainty will surely be the death of me.

Alone.

In my nightmares, I'm completely alone.

Alone with every insecurity, flaw, and fear I have.

Nobody can save me.

Nobody can tell me everything is going to be ok.

These little demons run around me and throw them at me.

And when I finally break and scream.

They just laugh like it's their favorite joke.

Why should Bernie Sanders be President?

Why Bernie is the best

Firstly because of his approaches on social issues that are sometimes underpowered over economic issues in America. Health and equality are just as important issues for him as money is for Trump wich is a lot.

Secondly, because he counts with the votes of people that are young and culturally informed and aren't racists, sexists and much more like some candidates (Donald Trump).

He doesn't count on bought votes and works for the ones he gets.

And lastly, because just look at his cute little old man face, he should win!

I'm not American, but am informed on the current politics and know that whoever wins the presidency is going to affect not just Americans but as well people in other countries because America is very influential in the world.

And Bernie Sanders is the right one for the job!
