I don't believe in "The One", that one special person out there for each of us. One chance for happiness and that's it's? But I do believe that we all have soul mates, and not all of the romantic kind. Think about that one friend who knows you better then you know yourself & who you can't imagine your life without, or that one relationship you had; short but different than anything you'd experienced before. If you're able to meet one, two, or even three of your soul mates during your life, count yourself lucky.
