Once upon a time,

You wore a different face,

And the world was a purer more simple place,

When skinned knees and bruises

Were the signs of a good day,

When the world was your playground; It's inhabitance there to play.

You wear a different face now,

and inside your heart has changed

What happened to make you this way? 

although your countless misdeeds are clear to me,

I can not help but try and see,

Who it was you used to be

Anger

no...Rage

Fills my being 

Burns inside me

Devours all sense

I want to SLAM my fist

SLAM them hard

Until I can no longer feel 

The pain of anger 

Or is it the anger of pain?

Unexplainable 

Tearing me apart inside 

making me want to 

 SCREAM 

To      SMASH

and       DESTROY

      a fire of rage

Burning away all logic 

Turning everything in me 

all thoughts and emotion 

    To ash 

Leaving only a monster in a shell

Filled with anger 

And 

             emptiness 

Soft as a newborn fawn,

Eyes that shine but do not see,

Though childhood I represent, 

In reality a child's nightmare I would be. 

It matters not what children believe; I can not love thoes who love me 

Who am I? 

Deep Fears

Crushing Doubts

Endless Despair

Emptiness 

that is Expertly Masked

By a Bright Smile
