A teenage girl with a huge admiration towards writing and reading. I aspire to be a well-known writer but how much can one dream?

This life has shredded me apart

It made a monster out of a young girl

I hate the person i am growing to be

But i have no plans to change

I am cemented

I am implemented

I don't like it

But i can't survive without it

Hostage

I am trying to calm the storm inside

But it keep raging more

A knife keeps slitting my inners more

I want to scream at the hurricane and ask it to quiet

I want to see birds chirping

Dogs happily barking

And me delightfully singing

But this war inside is holding me hostage

I'm in love with the alignment of words

I have an eccentric admiration towards fragments

Lets shed some reality on mental illness. It's not cute, it's not a joke and it's not an excuse: Write about a panic or anxiety attack. I'd love to see poetry, short stories and glimpses into who you are.

Explaining Mental Illness to the ones who fail to comprehend

Depression is like a castle filled with bombs

Like a mansion of insanity

Like a dream  of a nightmare

Anxiety is the pleasure of a crippled mind

It's the least inconvenient

As it makes the heart beat and alive

Homophobia is based on an image in a mirror

Whenever I look at it, I fear duplication

I don't want people as cold and bad walk on the same grounds as the saints

Claustrophobia is derived by the urge of being in solitude

Being alive is the explosion of galaxies

Scars, I believe, are the same as stars

Ecstasy is like rain in June

Not often being in light

But when it is, it's dire

It's horrifying as it awaits the major catastrophe

The collapse of an infected body

The pursue of killer pains and the restrain of a haunted body in an abandoned  house.

Let’s pray for a white day

The darkened weather

Fills my heart with ecstasy

The possibility of snow

Warms my heart

I await the fall of flakes

The day school closes, roads shut down

And I get to rest

If the roads are covered in cotton-like snow

I will be cuddling under a warm blanket

La La Land playing on the laptop

And I am blessed with a handful of hot chocolate and cream

- Currently praying for snow in Jordan as the temperature is extremely low and in some areas it's beginning to hail

Idioms

I write to live

I write to breathe

I write to survive

Words are good companion

They never leave ones side

They become a support system

Don't lie to words

Don't cheat on fragments

Don't commit sin
