Life would be teaching

As I look across the country from San Francisco to California to Charlottesville VA it makes me so sad that kids with disabilities cognitive like down syndrome and all physical like cp can't coexist in the same classroom with their friends of their own own age I myself being a teacher and getting my PhD in special-education and also having disability , I have seen great improvements to the education system for the disabled I have also seen great drawback because of the Americans with disabilities act also known as the ADA it's hard for people to truly understand what it's like to have a disability and how to accommodate the learning process of each and every child that comes in to the classroom environment with a physical disability or a mental disability and sometimes on scene disabilities to the naked eye example dyslexia

For me as a child of the education system now as a teacher fine to support those parents and educators want the best for these kids to succeed

It's really a unique experience helping these pants and helping the educators teach these kids we coming from a disabled to begin with not necessarily a teaching background up until 2007

And I'm happy to say that I will be conquering and teaching about disabilities until the day I die that's why I'm so passionate about disabilities and I try to tell my story as much as I can to help others who may not understand what having a disability is really like

And I try to teach about other disabilities as well my only wish is to have at least one class a day well kids from all different walks of life and from all different ability levels can come together and enjoy each other's company and learn from each other and see what one person with a disability has to offer them at young ages when I myself was in seventh grade it really opened my eyes to the segregate classroom and to see how horrible it was as a student and I can't imagine doing that to my students as teacher

Considering how lucky I was to be mainstreamed in all my classes including college with help from every student with taking the class with me and yes I did help help due to my physical disability and yes I do have my iep individualized education plan but the point I'm trying to make is that the segregation of students need to stop The education system needs to quit playing games and integrate the students if they can handle it because I feel like the students had a better understanding of the classmates then the teachers do and with that teacher has a special Ed did like with most teachers do not

They have a case of a language of a new Kindergarten to 12th grade degree of education and that's it because they don't want to get the special education teaching degree from A college of their choice let alone a Masters degree in education because they don't have the patient let alone the heart to see these kids succeed who are gifted and talented

No they want to cut the budget on music and physical education
