The Face of Expression

Pages in a book hold me, but they can not confine me; like the tide, I rise up and spill out onto all of humanity.

Reading is to seek me and to desire to understand me, that I may be used to help all, but that only scratches my surface.

Orators and storytellers have probed my depths to see what lies beneath, and as much as they have found there is still more of me to be made known.

Speech, the use of voice to convey such powerful things as the pronouncements of peace, and the declarations of war, is my foot stool.

Expression is what I am, The voices you hear, and the words you read piece together to create the mosaic that is my portrait.
