Schoolgirl, Trapped

They have wallpapered my school. The white tiles have bright "Abstinence-only" posters on them. They seem to whisper to me as I walk past. "Slut, slut, slut, slut, slut," they hiss in my ear. I am a good girl. I know no one knows. I walk away faster anyways.

’Til Death Do Us Part

The scene opens on a young woman walking down the street: gray sidewalks, gray skies, pale-coloured houses, but in what is clearly a nice neighborhood. She is shivering. She walks up to the front door and knocks. A man comes to the door and has a box for her. We see her hands for the first time. She is also carrying a box. They are very quiet as they exchange boxes.

The scene changes. The same young man and young woman are in a rather posh office. A lawyer is present. He speaks with them about negotiating the terms of their divorce.

As the film continues, it goes farther and farther into the past. The couple fighting, the couple getting along and doing things together - she wakes up early to make them breakfast, he surprises her with gifts “just because.” Eventually, we see their wedding, we see him propose, we see their first date.

The film ends with a mutual friend introducing the couple to each other. The film’s last line is the friend reassuring each of them that “you two are going to get along great. Y’all will love each other.”
