INVISIBLE POWER

Mankind worshipped the Sun as his God for untold thousands of years. Upon finding what constituted the sun's inner workings Man shifted his worship to an Invisible Being who dwells in an inaccessible region of the cosmos which Man is not permitted to know or access. Man must worship this Being and knows that this Being's all-seeing eye is focused on every human who abides on planet Earth and who is the sole judge of the quick and the dead.

At the Being's discretion the souls he has created will be joined in his heavenly home upon Man's physical death or be cast into an abyss belonging to his former acolyte, now an arch enemy, known by many names but easily identified as the fallen angel. None have seen either of these cosmic mystical creatures, not in the entirety of the history of mankind. But Man gives unquestioning obeisence to the unseen, believing these Beings to be the god and also the fallen one of the universe.

Wars and spilled blood and unseemly terror from worship of the unseen throughout millennia are responsible for acts which are defined not by this Being's contracts or in the Being's written hand but transmitted to man through mystical means. Man then announces a requirement for the world to know the Being spoke demands in various ways and his wisdom was set into stone as in tablets given to a human upon a mountain of smoke.

Mankind has yet a proclivity which establishes that he must worship another invisible artifact, those are the lines on Earth's environs defining countries and regions. Mankind must lay down their lives in defense of these demarcations should the need arise. Armies are dispatched to defend these boundaries and still other forces are deployed to steal them away from a weaker defending lot residing behind their likewise invisible barriers.

It becomes clear that the threads stitching the fabric of mankind's beliefs are worship of the INVISIBLE and the shedding of blood in an effort to enforce what the Invisible Being demands them to believe. Credulity is given the lofty name: Faith! Faith will support a belief even though the object of veneration is invisible to human eyes.

When all is said and done Man is not responsible, because at the end of the story, as all humanity knows, the real world ruler after all, is this guy called the devil and "The devil made Man do it."

ADDENDUM

It never occurs to humans, whose perceptivity is equal to an amoeba, that the universe is a duality, yin and yang, light and dark, which preserves balance. Human myths of invisible governing beings of good and evil arise from the cosmos' balancing act of the duality principle. A planet like Earth, having the importance of a quantum quark, is an unlikely repository for cosmic truths.

A SURPRISE

A SURPRISE

Humans are being busy as a bee

Busy killing, destroying all they see

Bees at least are in Nature's plan

The same can't be said for the likes

of Man

When Man discovers his greed is

problematic

Will he change? of course not he's a

greed addict

He's quite sure earth's resources won't deplete in his lifetime

After that he cares not what's

left to find

It might be wondered when Man leaves the planet

Will karma forget the damage Man's

done on it

When Man then tries to leap over Styx' stagnant pond

Karma will have him dancing with the devil in the great beyond

HACHIKO

HACHIKO

Every evening Hachiko steadfastly did wait

At five in the evening by the train station gate

Hachiko's decision always to stay not go

Faithful Akita like no other seen before

But of late the train brought burden to his heart

For each day it would come then depart

His life had been measured not by his years

But by his dog's silent and unshed tears

The man he unwaveringly kept vigil for

Hachiko couldn't know that he'd  come no more

It seemed important to tell Hachiko this

He's just a dog understanding is not his

They should be aware of this dog's  devotion

To be with his Man he would swim an ocean

Then one cold night with snow falling thickly

Hachiko saw bright train lights but it was misty

The train stopped near Hachiko that night

And from the train a figure did alight

They greeted each other in unbounded delight

When a light guided two figures to a bridge of

wondrous hues

And they crossed over never again each other to lose

PS:

Hachiko died at Shibuya station in Tokyo after ten years of faithful watchfulness waiting for his owner who had died at his workplace of a brain hemorrhage. Hachiko's statue remains at the station today in memory of a loyalty unbroken by time.

MINIONS IN THE CORNFIELDS

Has notice been taken as to how many elected governmental officials dressed in camouflage and orange recently have gone into the fields to kill various birds? Including Ted Cruz who, not long ago, demonstrated an amazing absence of judgment when he obtained a TIGER (endangered species) RUG! These are the lawmakers of the country with whom life seems to have a sliding scale of value, according to their recreational preferences. And that's exactly what these birds are: OBJECTS to be

killed for recreation. There they are, in some cornfield, heehawing to each other about bagging their birds! And this is the 21st century? How did they escape from their caves? "Oh they're just BIRDS" If you subscribe to that then the sliding scale of life's value has to be incorporated. Given the state of the entire planet it should be safe to assume that's a dangerous proposition, when the co-created (people) can place a value on the rest of the inhabitants' lives! But that's being seen presently with the greatest extinction of animal life taking place since the beginning of written history! If you were inclined to gamble here's one that's a sure bet: Most people do not care whether these Mental Giants are killing birds or not. If they did - it wouldn't be happening! Minions of the NRA-weak minds are easily led!

CAN THIS BE MENTIONED IN POLITE COMPANY?

(I should have mentioned this was directed at a part of the world where dog-eating and masculinity are TIED together)

Whenever human masculinity is

called into question

The size of the genitalia is the only

mention

Which has nothing to do with that

particular issue

It's not of import how much tissue

It's a matter of hormones in the brain

That's the determining factor which

is very plain

Most of such people have large heads

and a big mouth

Explaining analogy of masculinity

sliding to a region down south

NEW USE FOR AN OLD SPRUCE

There was a crime committed against

a 100 year old spruce

They cut it down putting it to better use

Its life deemed worthwhile festooned with colored lights

For crowds of tourists taking in the sights

And after that use fades it'll have a new existence

It'll be lumber in houses for human subsistence

The street where its dead boards will be at last

Will be called Spruce if anyone cares to ask

Equally unequal

SOME ARE AND SOME AREN'T EQUAL

People eat chickens but go on trips

to see Eagles fly

Proceed on hunting excursions and

shoot every bird in the sky

Pamper their dogs but take aim at

wolves

Love Bambi but hunt his mother in

the woods

Children's bedrooms filled with baby

animal toys

But baby calves are killed if they happen

to be boys

It could be said humans are a schizoid

race

Who will step up and set them in their

place?

With these atrocities committed upon

Mother Nature's jewels

It should be remembered this Mother

suffers no fools

14 POUNDS AND WHAT DO I GET? ANOTHER DAY OLDER AND CLOSER TO DEATH, (From a silkworm)

Silkworms are probably not on anyone's list of animals of "Those To Be Concerned About". In fact if there was a survey taken, disregard would be about equal to whether grass has feelings when being cut! Disregard for what is thought to be unimportant life forms would most likely win the approval of many. Disregard should not be so readily applied to this creature however. How many humans could spin a thread long enough to equal the height of Mt. Everest? Two of these creatures together could. So their lives are not entirely without intelligent direction or motivation.

A silkworm is not a worm at all but a pre-moth caterpillar who builds a cocoon of the material from which silk is derived. If allowed to pupate they would emerge from their cocoon as a moth but this is not permitted since the emerging moth would damage the silk fibers in which it has wrapped itself . Therefore the cocoons are put into boiling water to kill the sleeping victim inside and to release the tightly wound threads the animal has spun. The inventors of this gruesome process thousands of years ago are none other than the Chinese who seem to have a penchant for boiling creatures alive.

This particular animal is no longer found in the wild, they are extinct. When a species is extinct, China has the solution! China took them over hundreds maybe thousands of years in the past and the creature can no longer hunt and obtain its food which is a certain type of leaf. So it spends its short life before boiling by preparing its cocoon, happily wrapping itself into the comfort this provides, Never suspecting the horrendous end. It takes about 3000 of these little palaces to make one pound of silk. So the lady of leisure with a kimono on her back has a goodly number of dead animals to thank for her 14 pound garment. But isn't that the way of all human endeavors? Why is the human race so completely incapable of providing for itself without the necessity of killing?

A MULTITUDE OF SINS

A MULTITUDE OF SINS

Clothing should cover a multitude

of sins

Some humans do not realize how

sinful the skins they're in

They wear bikinis exposing rippling

fat

Some loose fabric would soon cover

up that

The women with ill-shaped bodies

wear pant-like garments skin tight

That make their rears look like bears

trying to fight

Of course one can't forget the breasts

hanging almost topless in pairs

A cow at milking time has more appeal

than theirs

Humans have forgotten the meaning

of clothes

They're to cover up defects the lack

of furs impose

There's something else that grates on me

Females trying to look appealing or sexy on TV

Wrap their legs together like they've got to pee

ALL EXCUSES HAVE BEEN BOOKED

It should be put in a book all the feeble, time worn excuses humans use to justify hunting. "Animals kill each other" "we have to control animal populations" "people are the top of the food chain" on and on ad nauseum. Same old, same old, same old! If they have to justify evil, evil can't be justified. Animals kill because they are predators and must obtain food and nature made them the way they are to fulfill a niche in the ecosystem in which they reside. They do not have a supermarket with nicely packaged products, they must obtain life's necessities on the hoof with tooth and claw not gun and bow! They do not hunt for entertainment or recreation or as a way to relieve stresses of everyday life. Although how watching an animal drop dead because you put a bullet or an arrow into a living creature can relieve stress tells something about the psychological mindset of someone that might be better left unsaid. What hunters, ALL HUNTERS, will not admit to is that killing is the reason they hunt. It is that act alone that drives them. They are the unevolved of the human species, the anachronistic throwbacks to their stone age relatives. Most times they look and dress as if they were modern humans but they are not. They merely have the veneer of modernity. The fact that they pose for pictures with their kills and take prizes from the dead bodies is further proof that their brains still reside in prehistory. Evolution simply left some behind and instead of trying to stamp out this aberrant behavior it is being encouraged by an industry of money making schemes from clothing to killing mechanisms such as bows and guns. They aren't being told they are psychologically inferior. That is just completely out of the question! They are exercising their rights as a superior human being who has dominance over animals. Of course overlooking the fact that animals were on the planet long before the superior humans and thanks to their superiority, both these animal species (humans and the other animals) are on the way out!
