It’s shocking what love can do,

It can make you smile, or turn you black and blue.

They say you take your chances with love,

But love takes its chances with you.

How will you love the person you pursue?

Don’t blame love if it doesn’t work,

Because love will be there, love mostly has perks.

Humanity is selfish at nature

But it’s only us that pass.

We say living is a process of death,

But time is the true grim reaper-

We are living blissfully, and ignorantly-

Not understanding who the true dominator is...

Time.

You can only hear the clock ticking when you’re tuned in,

The only time you hear the rain is when you’re silent.

The last time you saw the sun it was barely shining.

The first time I saw you smile was when I was frowning.

There are always differences.

There is always a spectrum.

But if you think about it,

There are only two sides.

The beginning.

And the end .

Like a grapefruit.
