Depression

Now a days people are getting depressed even for a small thing. It is more in present day youth. Why you should get depressed. There are several ways to get the best. There is no need of getting depressed. So many people think that if one fails sometimes in his path of success he is getting depressed, isn't it? If you fail try again and again until you succeed. There are so many other ways to achieve goal. If you fail in one way try the other and try until you succeed.

One story I heard that a man was locked in a dark room of great dimensions. He went to search the way out. He went to all the three directions east, west, south and found that there is no way. So he killed himself in depression of locked in that room. But God gave him the fourth direction, North was opened with a golden path of life. But the person ended his life without trying the last way. So life is like that.

We have to be courageous and trying our level best until the success knocks our door.

Many, almost every successful story is a story of great failures. Let's take some examples, like Abraham Lincoln, who failed in business, defeated in legislative elections, had nervous breakdown, lost congressional and senatorial race, but finally elected President of the United States of America when he was 52. He didn’t lose hope and give up his efforts.

Colonel Sanders was the founder of KFC chain restaurants. He at age 65, worked hard and succeeded in selling food items. He had knocked on more than thousand doors before he got his first order. Thomas edison, who was partially deaf, failed 10,000 times while he was working on the light bulb. He didn’t give up and got the success finally. He was the man with great attitude. Though he lost his factory to fire, he went on inventing the phonograph. He didn’t lose hope at any stage of his life.

All the successful persons succeed in spite of their problems. A setback can act as a driving force and teach us humility. We have to find faith and courage to overcome the setback. A burning desire can be the great cure for the depression, which drives us towards the success of our life. So great attitude, hope, perseverance, and faith will make us successful in reaching our goal.

May the Lord give us courage for accepting failures like stepping stones of success.
