Blue Eyes

Open your eyes and you will leave me breathless.

It is lethal how beautiful- how Crazy beautiful your blue eyes are. I know I will never get my fulfillment of gazing into them, but that doesn't mean I can't look one more time. It is more than an addiction; I'm enslaved to them. They pierce my soul and stitch me back up again. Every blink I take is a second I've lost, but when you close your eyes you free your soul and your spirit is dancing with the waves. I wish I was high up in the stars with you and Leo on one of your many escapades, while I am still down here anchoring you down hoping that there is still something worth coming back to.

When your eyes meet mine my heart skips a beat. I am ashamed for I don't feel worthy to be looked upon by you. I question what they see in me for you have witnessed life in a far larger magnitude than I. Your eyes have passed their adolescent youth and have aged through love and despair. The lenses you see life and death through is in a mysterious perspective I can't see.

I am sorry but let me remind you again, your eyes are beautiful- Crazy beautiful. You say, "Thank you" when I try to explain how your eyes put me in awe, but then you humbly respond, "But I didn't do anything to make them this way." Though you don't know what it is like for me to share a gaze with you making me smile that can't be undone. Those two eyes have the power to make another being smile with nothing else. This is a gift you were given that can change the world.

I undoubtedly have been caught gaping at your eyes. It is like seeing the light for the first time and can't look away. I am drawn by the magic they create. You don't ask for anything in return, but I want to give you all the beauty I have in return. I'm humiliated with what I have to offer but content knowing that it is all I have to give. When I am in your eyes I am lost in a world of beauty I have never found before but only heard about in books. I know the time is coming for your eyes to go onto a new horizons, but the moments I've captured with you I will never lose.
