Creek

So many keeping their mouths full at a safe distance away;

for those who have much to say, but have felt little of a sting, would rather feign that they have seen what can be done, held the reaper's rasp.

Neither across oceans nor creeks have I traversed yet I speak of a "beauty so strange," or what those more acquainted with the Void have explained.

To the beginner goes that luck. Not required is that blade, just the feelings and T.V. news reels. They are coming, but beforehand we leave.

Is it far better or much worse to sit at the edge of a lake who's homes appear glamorous and long for the notoriety gained when occupied by a no-one of this age?

At that safe distance away, we are free to ponder, lest we dip our feet in the pond and wade.

Coal.

She acted like such a cut diamond.

She scraped away the rough. My rough

Did it need removal?

Did she not feel good enough as my Rock

That she had to turn into

 just

       another

                   cut diamond?

One in a million -those shining, artificial gems.

You once dazzled me with no flawless faces

Just like dusty coal.

Do not cut away my rough that I love.

Pathetic

Pathetic is the word.

Pathetic is what I've heard

What can you do about pathetic?

Impossible to unlearn

Pathetic is ingrained in me

all of humanity and common ancestors

know the struggle of not living up

to Whatever was here first,

So Pathetic is what we will be together

We won't leave this plane of misery

until we call on one who is better

No Pathetic in him is found

We live Pathetic here but perfection in the ground

And when I turn around tomorrow and forget this ever happened

You can call me pathetic because I made myself a victim.

So long as you don't inflict anymore damage

on yourself

your health

No amount of wealth can bring back

what you've given me for the twelfth year since we were three.
