You grow up thinking your life is headed in a certain direction... then life happens and throws you in a tailspin.

Know one knows where life will take them. You can plan all you want, it doesn't matter. Because anything can happen to throw you off course. And sometimes you get too far off where you want to be in your point in life, that is very hard to get back on track. So you go where the new path takes you.

You try to survive this new bumpy path in life before you the best you can. Things try to throw you more off course. Good things in life happen and can smooth the path for you. Making it easier to deal what life threw at you.

You keep moving forward because you have no choice.

As you get older you come to realize all of this. Because you know in the end it comes down to this: Life Happens, then you die.

Life may not always be pretty, but its all you have. You have to fight for every moment of life.

Someone said to me once, "whatever happens will happen. You can't do anything about it." I hate that statement to this day, but in some instances it's true. It was true in that instance with my mom's 1st stroke 2 yrs ago. I didn't know what was going to happen to her. it hurt me a great deal seeing her go through all she did. She's not the same as she was, but she's better then others that have gone through that. I've seen how some ended up when she was in a rehab before she came home. She's very lucky! She can still walk but uses a walker and is unsteady so I walk with her everywhere. She can move all her limbs, does things herself like eat and wash because her hands work like they should. i'm still with her always. I take care of her. I wouldn't have it any other way. Her speech is affected. Something she's not happy about. But she can talk and form words. She is very lucky! I'm also very lucky to have her still in my life!

So, yeah, life happens when you least expect it.

Just keep keeping on! Like my strong mom! She's an inspiration for anyone!

Life just happens!
