Hidden Among the Shadows

I was once a mortal, I used to spend my days with my family and friends. I remember all these memories with them, talking, laughing, and living life. I always thought that I would die and they would mourn me, not the other way around. So now I spend my life in the shadows, moving state-by-state, country-by-country, and finally settling far away from the rest of the world. My family has died many centuries ago.

I used to hate the sounds of loneliness, with its sad symphony and broken strings. It's been such a long time since I've seen another living being, I live in a small castle in the woods. but it's not like the fairy tales and I definitely don't need any prince to save me.
