I’ll just write it down.

I don't know how to say it out loud, so I'll write it for you.  I'll let my pen fly, for you to read.  My words will strangle me to my grave.  Hopefully you'll loosen this noose and let me catch a breath.  Did you hear about the boy down the street, the one who would swing in the yard and draw on the concrete with chalk?  The world turned him into a man at age nine, when his mother was robbed from him.  Save him too.

A Wish

Blury vision, tinted red.

Sweating hands, violently shake.

A wish for something, can't describe.

Wish for something, craving for everything.

Challenge
In no more than five sentences, write a mind-bending plot twist.

A Sad Song

I plucked at the strings of my guitar, attempting to produce some sort of rhythm that could please the masses.  I need something clever, something witty.  The song I'm writing is especially sad.  You may wonder why it is that way. You see, I wish I could hear the song.
