So, I would like to share the story of a dog named Bob. Unfortunately, Bob was not normal and he could only breathe through his butt. One day he sat down for too long and died. Rest in Peace Bob.

Can you make us thirsty for an entire novel by writing your BEST first line? Write the BEST first line to the next story that you never knew you wanted to tell. Sell us on your big idea in forty (40) words or less, no more. Draw us in by saying everything to overwhelm our minds with excitement or say just enough to lure us in and have us lusting for the next four-hundred pages. Any Genre is allowed. The object is to grab us at the beginning and to make us never want to let go. Must be done in ONE sentence. Happy writing! I pick the winners and will read every entry!

Challenge: Share some of your brainstorming notes. Describe your brain. Prompt: The human mind is a fascinating meat-blob of atoms and electricity. I continue to be awestruck by the mind-boggling <-----(punny)-- differences between my brain and everyone else's. Tell me how your brain works. Describe your thoughts, thought-process, inner monologue, the little voice inside your head, conscience, misfiring synapses, ect.. What do you "see" in your mind? P0P1 in Comedy

A motorcyclist was traveling at 140 km/h on a road when he suddenly ran over a bird. In the rearview mirror, the guy saw the little animal doing several pirouettes until it was stretched out on the asphalt.

Not containing the remorse, he stopped the motorcycle and went back to help the little animal. The little bird was there almost dead. The motorcyclist was so distressed that he picked up the bird and took it to the vet. There the bird was treated and medicated, and the vet said there was a chance it would survive. The man bought a cage and took the bird home, taking care to leave a little bread and water for the victim.

The next day, the little bird regains consciousness. Upon awakening, finding itself trapped, surrounded by bars, with the piece of bread and the bowl of water in the corner, the animal puts its wings on its head and screams:

- I don't believe! I killed the biker!
