Silence| The last witness
The sound of the ocean gently lapping against the shore.
They both knew they were running the risk of being caught .
He looked down into her brown eyes and said:"They will understand."
She threw her arms around him " you don't know that!" She whispered
He can feel an unexpected sadness creeping into her eyes like he'd let her down "They will with time."
His hand moved against her soft sensitive skin. He longed to kiss her but time was slipping away
He gently held her hand "Till we see each other again, then ?"
"In some form or another, I imagine."
They both smiled
As the sun throws its final arrows.. Their shadows depart
And the silence that followed became an unavoidable presence
