Muffy

All I see are his gold eyes

And no lie; they are so fly

Make me wanna cry

'Cause those eyes speak a lifetime of stories

They represent a lifeline

An eternity of time

His name is Muffy

He's not very fluffy but he's a tuffy

I would give my last dime; for a little more time

To have him by my side

He's not a very fat cat or a bad cat

Or the kind of cat to chase a bat cat

He's a bit of a whack cat

Pays no mind to you but loves your bed

Makes you scratch your head

He was a stray

But we saved him that day

A fateful day

His most grateful day

And now he's home

Sitting on his throne

He's a king

Treat him like a human being

His personality is better than anyone I'll ever meet

He's sweet

Loves to eat

Sometimes will lick your feet before you fall asleep

In his eyes they hold the story of a lifetime

Muffy is the greatest friend of mine

Goodbye.

I hold these hands,

I hold these precious hands.

I'm holding another woman's hands.

Little did I know you have been cheating,

and now my love for you is fleeting.

I think my heart finally stopped beating.

After all these years I have stopped believing;

Constantly you were leaving,

and I'd ask where have you been.

You would give the same sorry excuse again and again,

"Don't worry baby I was out with some friends."

I saw you were her yesterday;

I have have no idea what I should say.

Apparently you have only been with her since May,

there must have been more than one.

No worries though, my time with you is done;

Now its me whos off and on the run.

I want to know who she is,

but I hate to know what you did.

I wish I could let this slide,

but on the inside I have died.

I thought what we had was love,

but you played me like a dove.

I hate to confront you,

but I will just be blunt with you.

I hope your happy with what you did;

She will never love you like I did.

I fell for you like a kid.

I hit the ground and you picked me up;

When I met you I thought it was dumb luck.

I thought I met someone I would be with forever.

You thought you were so clever,

but not everyone can hide their mistakes.

I'll watch from afar as my heart breaks,

I guess you were never mines to take.
