Golden lights and sparkle

On that day, lune had been out earlier than usual. It was as if soleil had been tucked in bed earlier than its bed time by mère lune, probably because it was full of frolic and energy during the day, Maya reckoned as she viewed the golden lightened Eiffel Tower.

A box of chocolates

There's nothing better than a box of chocolates. They come in all shapes and sizes. There are heart shaped ones, which are aesthetically pleasing and worth an Instagram post.

A box of chocolates is equivalent to a Christmas present. It could either come with one specific topping or flavor and so we relish the same sweet taste, or it could be a surprise, just like opening the present. Nuts and sea salt spice up your life, fillings fill it with love and chocolate makes everything better.

It never leaves you hanging-whether you're upset post breakup, bonding with someone special on Valentine's, or even if you're craving some cocoa, a box of Chocolates will never let you down.

Ravioli and Pastor

He said he wanted them to give a chance. He said that she being a stripper didn't matter. He said that He had faith in her.

Faith was something she didn't have.

It all started at Tick Tock Diner. Maya and Matteo, the evil M's she would like to call themselves were celebrating their one year anniversary. Or so she thought. He had dumped her, forgetting it was their special day that night. That very day last year they got together.

Matteo said that she being a stripper troubled him. He spilled it, finally, spilled his inner thoughts that troubled him every time they got together-slut.

He walked out of the diner without having a meal. A white gold watch flashed under the street light as he walked by. She saw him through the window. That was a gift to him. From her.

As Coincidences happen with such a mystery, a pastor was dumped-they stopped courting for that matter. At Tick Tock Dinner. Two souls, longing to meet their soul mate, finally met there.

She offered Him a seat next to her as the Diner was full. He suddenly appeared as a will-o'-the-wisp, a spark in her life. She suddenly had the urge to share everything to Him. She found refuge in His comforting words. But this was all cliche, she thought to herself.

History would repeat itself, she thought, as He was too good to be true. Good was He, she surely admitted. But He was kind and understanding. After what all He must have gone though, their souls were in the same position. Yet he wanted to help a pour soul like Mays's.

He said that be wanted to reform her life. He wanted to get to know her. She thought He was not real, superficial. Heck, He even wanted her to leave her troubled past and offered her to work as a substitute English teacher.

This was too much for her. He was rushing things. After what felt like praying to the clouds that were as fragile as her faith in Him, her prayers were finally being answered. A stable, temporary job, where she could restart her life.

She finally agreed for a second date. It would be at the orphanage 2 miles away. She would help Him prepare His Ravioli, what he called a quick remedy for the stomach and for a heart ache. Other than the Word of God of course.

There, she felt like she was before God. Or at lead someone Godly like. He didn't look like one, nor did he wear cloaks or sandals. It was in his attitude-full of acceptance, patience, sharing. She felt ashamed of her personality. What she called herself as a whore, slut.

He accepted her for what she was. He wanted her to get herself a better life. He talked about acts of kindness, which cost nothing. He wanted to make everyone happy. She heard His silent prayers, thanking the Lord for food they just had, for the blessings they had received.

It all seemed skeptical to her at first, but in her heart, she was thankful to someone hidden in those fragile clouds, for receiving a blessing that she soon knew would change her life, Adam.
