It’s uncomfortably quiet,

Emptiness is creeping in,

Internal chaos,

making this silence so unsafe for my mind.

Relentless darkness fills me with the awareness of my abnormalities,

Leaving me critically cryptic,

that value of my worth,

Is just as empty as this tomb.

Like an artist,

Gifting my soul as medium,

Slowly and painfully,

I attempt to rectify,

Your missing piece,

Even if saving you,

Destroys me,

Just know,

I’ll never give up,

My Masterpiece.

Such little pay,

For the mental toll,

It takes day to day?

You can’t leave,

You have mouths to feed,

Barely scraping by,

Pinching pennys,

While the world only,

Accepts Dimes,

As it continues to,

Drain the life out of you,

You wake up every morning,

And do what you have to do..

From all the words,

Within our language,

Cursing is all you can manage?

Paint that piece,

With what it truly deserves,

It’s your expression,

Now muster up the nerve,

Resilient, detailed and bright,
