I lost my way.

I couldn't see the colours,

That had lit me up so vividly.

The deep blue of the sea,

And the pink of the sunset sky.

Lost without direction,

Just wanting to find,

My way home.

Too many stars

Light up the sky

To count them down

But not a single one

Will ever shine as

Bright as the light

You will leave for me

To remember you by

Since I've written you.

Since I've taken the time to sit in my own thoughts.

I've been giving so much recently.

Every last little glow of energy.

In the hope that they would feel safe.

Till one day there just wasn't any light left to give.

And in hat moment when you needed rest.

And used everything that was left to ask for it.

They left.

What use did they have for you if there was no more light left?

I'm not sure

I could trust you

With my heart again

Yet somehow

It seems

You still have it

What if

This wasn't your path all along?

You were made for something bigger

Something better?

What if

The stars are just aligning in your favour

And it's all about to fall in place
