Fear Controls

Leaders use fear to control the people. Regardless of economic, political, or social structures, leaders can instill fear in the people they rule, the students they teach, or the children they raise, and when fear flourishes, a leader's power grows even more corrupt.

Fear convinces people to willingly forfiet their freedoms to the leadership who threatens that destruction of the world is imminent. What fears do our leaders propagate that will persuade us to willingly relinquish our human rights and limit our liberty?

"Limits, like fear, is often an illusion." Michael Jordan

Persona Non Grata

“He’s not the right man for you,”

Spoken to me with familial authority

“Only to be tolerated but never accepted,”

Declared as if they think they know.

Even though I’m accepted there’s

No trust in the truth I married;

His reputation as a strong husband and father,

Protecting his wife and sons with unwelcome defense,

Is a shunned certainty.

He’s the man I chose yet

He has been convicted a wretch.

Rejected by many, nurtured by two,

Our union boldly forced on others

Endures with unfaltering fidelity.
