I fly once more with you

This time with my wings supported

Where they were once clipped

And carried nothing but my own selfish fears

Because I am not happy.

Most of us are not. I do not write to sing the praises of the world we live in.

I do not write to sugarcoat a life where I feel lonely, and marginalized

I write to show the world as it is.

Sick from it's own toxic syrup, begging to be set free from it's own self inflicted sores.

I write to rid myself the feelings of hopelessness. So that maybe one day, I will no longer feel the searing pain of isolation.

Maybe...one day...
