Solace
The darkness isn't dark,
Nor the rain so cold.
When overwhelmed and overstressed,
We find peace within ourselves.
We find our own best company
When we come to know ourselves.
Our best friends are hiding there,
Just waiting to be found.
When society is cruel,
And friends have turned away,
We can stand beside ourselves,
And never be alone.
Temptation
A passionate, irrepressible desire. The sensation stirs your loins as its' power consumes your innermost thoughts and feelings; your mind and soul. Any semblance of logic or reason cast off as though they were but useless trinkets. Insatiable just until a particular one of humanities most basic of needs is met, and sometimes even then an enduring evocation of ones longing for a mate. Divulged only towards those trusted.
