The World’s Greatest

The joke was on Ms. Violet. I would become the greatest artist of all time, or at least of my generation. I took out my sketchbook again and silently laughed.

By Ourselves...Together

Sit down with me.

No fear.

Here we are alone,

my dream come true.

Weather is nice today, isn't it?

Oh, gosh. I feel a burp coming on,

but I don't want you to know that.

It's okay now. The worst is over.

The storm has passed.

What did you just say? The burp

distracted me, left me deaf

in both ears when I let go

on the inside.

Right. Uh, huh. No no.

No.

My dream come true

is now spiraling down into

"A Nightmare on Oak Street".

Can we go back to talking about the weather?

Challenge
Predict the future: how do you die?

OLD.

My skin, once resilient, falls down

under the weight of the world.

I miss my bubbly youth and the constant

shield from harm.

Trump

I can't see him as

president. Can even his

mother? Nope, sorry.
