Our Chosen Paths

Please don't be a slave to the master's opinions;

Let your life be yours through your own decisions.

Ignore those who believe they are better than,

And don't let them convince you you're lesser than.

Some will mock, some will laugh.

You must walk, on your own path.

I didn't ask for your meddling

Nor did I ask for your belittling.

Don't let them consume you in guilt

Or allow them to break the building you built.

Keep your foundation strong

Until all frustration's gone.

Some will mock, some will laugh.

You must walk, on your own path.

Don't give them what they don't deserve;

Instead, leave your body and soul preserved.

Don't allow anybody to kill your life and passion;

Don't let tyrants rule your life with disastrous distractions.

If you don't like my choices, then form your own;

Neither one of us has to be wrong.

Plastic People

People are made of plastic,

Do you realize?

But I rip the mask of fabric

Off, revealing eyes.

Within burning hand,

Palms like gasoline cans,

Plastic people, plastic planet-all disintegrated.

Pharisee Polygamy

I am the Pharisee

Follow my theology

I am one, the most holy

Follow my philosophy.

Pharisee polygamy

You claim the Mighty hand will carry you

Pharisee polygamy

But your self righteousness will bury you

Pharisee polygamy

An angel emotion, a devil in motion…

"This sin's fine, but this one isn't"

You judge others, like it's different

Like you're stable through storm.

Ignoring your own transgressions

Like eternal life's in your possession

He spits out the lukewarm.

Belittling me, due to what I did,

While the log's inside your own eyelid.

But I can see it crystal clear.

Pharisee polygamy

You claim the Mighty hand will carry you

Pharisee polygamy

But your self righteousness will bury you

Pharisee polygamy

An angel emotion, a devil in motion

Pharisee polygamy

Which one is it you're married to?

Xenophobia

Fear the unknown

Fear the unseen

Fear by imagination, imagining.

What monster's under the water, beneath?

What beast lies deep within the sea?

What being's, seeing, me in the dark hall?

Or inside the closet, making my skin crawl?

Something's hiding, disguising

Residing, in the darkness, blinding,

Is it a murderer, ghost, or a demon, hiding?

Or maybe it's nothing.

The Pessimist

How do I see the adorable in what is deplorable;

Inside what is horrible?

How do I find a miracle inside the terrible?

How can I be charitable?

I am negativity

I am sensitivity

I am pessimism

I am the victim.

How can I show mercy, towards the dirty;

The ones who try to hurt me?

How do I stop being so pessimistic?

I'm just being realistic.

Demented Dimensions

I'm surrounded by a world of blank

As I'm heading up the stairs

What's that sound, in my mind?

I hear the roarin' pour in, from behind.

At the sound of the banshee, my heart sank

Blood pours out from my ears,

What's that noise, in my head?

"My soul to keep" as I lay my bed of red to rest.

I don't wait to see the appearance

Or else I will be petrified.

I don't wait to see the appearance

Or else I will be paralyzed.

I don't wait to glare into the creature's

Milky eyes to see the face.

Because just one look, at its features

And my life will be erased.

Up this staircase, I run and I run,

Is this Hell? Is this trial endless?

Has this ordeal only just begun,

Or am I almost finished?

The Sinister Hands

Everything's distorted,

Bent and molded; its twisted

Into a beast; heartless, frigid

While peace has been aborted.

Forming a society of rivalry.

The Devil’s Joy

Follow the path I have made for you,

I will not lead you off the road

I will not lead you astray, away

Your wickedness I will corrode.

I am power, I'm an assassin of light

I am wealthy, I am a thief in the night

I am shifty, and nothing can fix me

I'm shape shifting swiftly, I darken the bright.

I'll steal, lie, pry, and break you,

Inside your heart I roam.

You will, die, I, will take you,

I'll bring you to my home.

Follow the path I have made for you,

I will now lead you off the road

I will now lead you astray, away

Your innocence I will corrode.

Reload

As the world turns, eventually,

We see mankind is devolving.

As the world burns, continually,

The planet; it keeps on revolving.

Bare feet walk upon flaming coals,

We all, fall, through in the ashes.

Spinning, a whirlwind, out of control,

The whole world falls off of its axis.

Let us all relapse.

Let it all collapse.

Look around you,

Through the visual,

Mankind, walks upon a landmine,

Ready to explode.

Look around you,

See the physical,

A full gun, aimed at everyone,

Ready to unload.

This pressure has built deep within-it's grown.

It's turned the soft flesh to bitter bone,

And turned an ocean of freedom, to restricted stone.
