Should I be crying?

Or should I be happy?

Crying, because I can't come tell you,

about a new crush or a fight I had today.

Happy, because I won't be boring you

with any of the above.

To the world, she is a mystery,

No one knows her history.

She fakes smiles and wipes her tears,

She faces each day;

And her cries, no one hears.

All she needed was love,

And into words she wove.

All the help that she didn't receive,

No one did she deceive.

Don't remember the last time

I laughed my heart out

Tears rolling down with glee

But I've been happier before

Before 'Life' happened to me

Me, into pieces, it tore.

The ocean water

Compels me to sink in

It'll take away

all of my problems

Leaving me in peace and solitude.

When I sank in,

The whole wide world didn't exist

So delighting,

It silenced all of my cries of pain.

The water, refreshing

Colliding against my body

Swaying to its tunes

The waves, tingling.

I walk out

Having washed out my earlier stains

The water caused new ones

Which will be healed,

The next time

I walk into this magical trap.
