Prose Challenge of the Week #11 in partnership with The Micropoetry Society. Use the following word to create a piece of micropoetry: “OLD.” The winner will be chosen based on a number of criteria, this includes: fire, form, and creative edge. She has trouble seeing the beauty in herself
and wears baggy clothing, messy hair and glasses. She is going to fall
in love one day with someone who
will take off her glasses, tuck her hair
behind her ears, and release her baggy clothing. He will lead her
naked to a candle lit bath pearl rose petals on the floor. He will get
in the bath with her and they will make
love. But not before she suffers. Not before she loses
