Mind Bender

Been one since the day I was born.  I have always had things my way.  I have bent minds for food, money, love, and sex.  Perhaps some would say that I have abused my superpower.  They might even say that I should have been using my super power to help others, instead of using it for personal gain.

But, my system had always worked well for me.  That is until I met Angel.  For the first time in my life, I found myself helpless.  My superpower failed me.  I felt as if she had ripped my beating heart from my chest.  With wailing, and gnashing of teeth, I screamed "why, why, why?"  She glared at me and said, "because , my dear my superpower is the numbing of minds."

From the day I met angel I have been forced to live as if I had never had a superpower.  I live in a state of confusion, because I can no longer get people to do things my way.  I took my superpower for granted, and now I am forced to live a boring, humdrum life, just like an ordinary human being.  Since the mind numb-er took my superpower I merely exist.  I was condemned to hell as punishment for using my superpower for personal gain.  My advice to all  those with superpowers  is to do something good for the world.  Don't end up like me, alone, powerless, and in hell.
