Heavy doses of adamant will

Collide with creative skill

Perhaps creation is not so merciful

But what is creation to the mind

Which can paint worlds of its own

Nothing will last forever

Not stars nor stone

Everything erodes

Explodes

Withers

Humankind is weak

Held back by their own

Clawing for the stars

When gravity drags us down

But until light and freewill fades

Humankind will soar

Because it must

We are makers

We are painters

We are explorers

We are creators

We can be gods

Gods who mold the heavens

Weave the fabric of spacetime

And create a multitude of worlds

And an abundance of stars

Stars that are immortal

Stars that shine forever in the dark

A steadily burning candle

Flickering and warm

Lasting and comforting

But not exciting

Certainty no fireball

Or great explosion

The candle desires to glow brighter

Brighter than sunlight

So it searches, patiently

For gasoline to engulf it's fire

And hurl it towards the sky

When one first writes

Fingertips spark

The heart pounds to anticipate

Thoughts dark and profound

Thoughts bright and flighty

And all lying between

Have I done this seriously?

No

But a good question to ask:

Why not start now?
