Man-Kind

Truly the universe's’ most narcissistic byproduct. A creation of the universe to experience itself, but existence becomes pain. Along with the pleasures of existence, come the pains of existence. Physical pain, Emotional pain, Mental pain. From the moment life as we know it was forged, it has fought frantically for the relief of non existence. Order to the Chaos. All of creation, the very universe itself, always becomes volatile and turbulent to the point of self destruction. We are no more or no less destructive than the stars we are born of. War and love are the two two sides of the same coin. Only through great #love, be it for a person, an idea, or something material, are we willing to go to #war.

Scoffing at Independence

You must understand, humans are a paradox. We are aggressive and self confident outside, when we understand we are weak and inferior inside. The quieter the human mouth, the louder the human mind. We fight ourselves in the name of peace. Even though we are one species, we draw lines in the sand and claim we are independant from our brothers and sisters. I ask you not to save us for a our greatness, rather take pity of our foolishness. Our consciousness was misstep in evolution, one which has wrought a plague on the only planet we’ve ever had.

True Cowardice

Not the ones who beg in the street,

Hiding among us looking for a dumpster to eat,

Not the ones slaving in strife,

Praying for the chance to change their life,

It's the ones who hide behind their golden walls,

Claiming there isn't enough for us all,

This is true cowardice.

The Void

As each reality sensor shuts down, my mind enters the realm beyond my body. The vast void of blank canvass, where impossibility is no longer an option. Horrific images of loved ones lost, mangled, disparaged, and dismembered. Disfigured monsters, human skin stretched beyond its limit. Barrelling through the sleepy town, leaving only smoke and ash; blood and bodies; fear and discord.

Cold sweat covers my body, earth shattering hooves rattle by the window. Inhuman war screams hang in the midnight air like a thick fog. Heart beating like thunder itself, I rise to my feet and peer out the window. As I feared, only the black, blank, desolate void staring back at me.This is my true nightmare, for I fear the void much more than the monsters inside.

The Darkness of Desire

Staring at the sweat and blood coated floor,

adrenaline began draining from his lifeless eyes.

If only she loved me more, he cried.

Another victim of desire’s ride.
