Lost Girl

A long, long time ago there was a distant land called Neverland where happy children could be seen playing games, dancing, singing, or a plethora of other fun activities. More and more kids would arrive by flight each night, and by morning they would be snuggled back in their beds. The kids would then awaken wishing to return, but shortly realizing it must’ve been a dream. Many have heard the legend of Peter Pan, but there's a part of the story that was left untold. I’m sure you’ve heard the story with the happy ending, but happiness isn’t always the truth now is it?

Peter Pan did exist, he made children's dreams come true, and any boy who was lost became a permanent part of Neverland, where they could be happy, but you think the in the ending of the story Wendy, John, and Michael fly out on Captain Hook’s golden ship, where they return home and tell their story to their parents, but the truth is that never happened, in fact Wendy, John, and Michael never even made it to Neverland. The entire story was a lie, and I’m here to tell you the truth.

Years ago Peter was on his way to retrieve Wendy, John, and Michael, when a cannon shot was heard. Peter knew it was Captain Hook, as he turned around he heard another shot coming straight for him. He tried to dodge it, but he wasn’t quick enough, he was hit. He plummeted straight down into the ocean as Hook let out an evil cackle. He decided to go to Germany to spread the news amongst his hometown.

On the way to Germany he received a letter from a messenger pigeon saying that maleficent had cast a curse on King Stefan, and Queen Leah’s child Aurora, whom is ten years old, when she turns 16 she will be trapped wherever she is, and she stole Aurora. This intrigued Hook, he had to meet Maleficent, especially since he knew she dreaded Peter

Hook arrived at Maleficent's castle and anchored his ship. He heard a girl calling out “kind sir please help me, I’m trapped!” He scoffed as he walked up to the door, and knocked. There was a screech, Maleficent's pet raven, Diablo. The eye hole opened up and the door opened. There Maleficent stood in all her glory her horns glistened in the light, and her emerald eyes were piercing Hooks soul. She scowled at Hook asking “What are you doing here, did you finally take over neverland”, she paused for a moment and cackled then said “as if.” Hook looked her dead in the eye and said with a stern voice, “Actually I did, is that to… hard for you to believe.”

Maleficent sported an evil grin, as she got an idea. She asked Hook if he would take her and her prisoners back to Neverland. Hook agreed, but as we all know, everything comes with a price. Hook asked her to rule Neverland with him, after all he didn’t want anyone coming in trying to revolt against him. With a dragon guarding the island he wouldn’t have a fear of this, for no one would dare try to slay an extravagant, and fierce dragon.

Hook was on the deck of his ship waiting to take off. The door of the castle creaked open and out came Maleficent holding a frightened Aurora shackled in magical binding chains. They boarded the ship with minimal things and hook scattered pixie dust around from which he collected by capturing Tinker Bell who had been powering the ship for a few weeks. Hook yelled “Ahoy! To Neverland!”, and the ship took off at high speeds.

Once they arrived Hook gathered all of the lost boys and told them to get on the utility boat he happily sent them all home, where the ship would return with an equal amount of lost girls to take their place, and live with Aurora. Maleficent summoned all her magic and built a castle , where she could take the place as Neverlands Queen, and Hook the King. She sent Aurora to a small bedroom in the back of the castle, and she cast a cloaking spell over Neverland so it would be invisible to anyone who was near

Almost six years passed and Aurora was locked in her room most of the time, she began to sob as she realized she was almost 16 and soon would be trapped there forever. She then saw a sparkle out of the corner of her eye. She stood up and walked to the small window, and there stood a fairy, Tinkerbell. Tink used her pixie dust to weaken the bars and they began to melt. Once the were gone tinkerbell sprinkled the last of her pixie dust on Aurora. Aurora began to float as she heard someone coming up the stairs.

Maleficent barged down the door just as Aurora slipped out of the window. She screamed in agony and began to shift. Hook came running up the stairs with a sword in his hand, there stood a majestic dragon, and He hopped on her back. Off they flew trailing shortly behind Aurora and Tink. They were gaining on them when the pixie dust started to wear off and Aurora began to slowly decline. Tink tried to help but she was out of Pixie dust. Down she fell where she softly landed on the ground next to a cave.

A boy was standing nearby. He offered her his hand and they ran into the cave that he called his home. Aurora thanked The boy for saving her life, he looked to be about her age. She then asked him what his name was. He told her his name was Phillip and that he was a lost boy who was left behind when the utility boat left back to the mainland.

Up above they heard a roar. Maleficent was getting angry because she couldn’t find Aurora. Philip explained that he had an escape route he had been working on for years. He managed to get some pixie dust years ago from a fellow fairy, he thought it might be just enough to get him home, but he gave it to Aurora and told her she needed to get home otherwise she would be trapped. Aurora began to cry, she hugged him and handed the pixie dust back to him. She told him he needed to get back to his family more than she did. In the distance they heard a bell sound, it was Tink ready to save the day she had gotten more pixie dust from a fellow fairy. She gave it to them and told them to run to the nearest cliff sprinkle some pixie dust on them and jump.

They did what Tink said and right as Maleficent, and Hook saw them, they took each other's hand and jumped. They began to fly and then a miracle happened. Peter's shadow appeared and sprinkled some berry scented blue dust on them, and they were transported to Aurora's Castle. As they landed Phillip looked Aurora in the eyes and thanked her for saving his life. King Stefan and Queen Leah walked in and saw them right as Phillip kissed Aurora, and a wind blew threw the castle the curse was broken.

Hidden Jars

You’ll never know

The secrets that hide

Inside the galaxy jar

By the jar of the tide

Full of many mysteries

That galaxy jar of mine

And that whimsical jar

The jar of the tide

Scents I smell

the ocean breeze

Different shells

In which I please

Each shell is different

In many many ways

Just like the people

All Lost in a maze

Oh hidden jars

Shed your bright lights

Onto the people

Who cry many nights

Life can be hard

Just push through

Trust me, I know

I’ve cried too

Sometimes at night

I count the sheep

Especially on the nights

When I really can't sleep

I sometimes wonder

What would happen to me

If I was a person

Lost in the sea

The waves would roll over

Right over me

Then I would think of

The jar of the sea

Both jars are symbols

Of all who are lost

In the twisted maze

At which there is no cost

It's a difficult path

The entrance is free

You don't want to exit

Take that from me

Many people break

The jars shine their light

In the twisted maze

which we call our life

Whether it's the galaxy

Or the shells in the sea

Everyone is lost

Especially you and me

Focus

I woke up with no recollection of where I was or where I came from. My vision was blurred, I could see colors, Then I heard someone say, “Look everyone, she’s waking up.”

I tried to focus my eyes so I could see what was happening The first thing I could see was a flashing light. It was flashing colors, but I couldn’t tell what colors… maybe red… and blue.. My vision was focusing more… I saw faces… faces of people I couldn’t really see. Were they really even there? I couldn’t tell. Where was I…? Who was I? I couldn’t see, but I could feel the warm sand against my chest. Was I sinking? No. I felt someone lift me up. The person had strong arms. I felt the person lift me onto something white and blue. I moved towards the red and blue flashing light… I heard someone crying. really loudly. Then I coughed, something came out of my mouth. I didn’t know what it was. it was red-ish but not like blood. It felt as if I was coughing up ground-up rocks. What had happened to me? Why couldn’t I remember? I heard someone ask another person if they would like to come with me on the ride. Then I tried to say, “The ride to where?”, but only mumbles came out.

I felt like I couldn’t breath I felt my heart pounding inside my chest. Was I dying? I felt us starting to move. I still heard the crying. The person who was crying was on the bus. Was this my mother? My stomach started to hurt. I felt something coming up. That’s when I threw up more. It hurt more this time. Still like ground-up rocks The world was getting darker around me. Did someone turn off the lights? No. I had blacked out.

I woke up and I was in a different surrounding. It was much brighter, almost as if there was something right in my face. I saw something golden in front of me and my first thought was that I was in heaven. Then I thought, “But if I was in heaven, would I feel really be in pain?”

There was no way I was in heaven. Then the light moved. I took a deep breath in happily. I was still alive… I think. I saw someone above me. I think it was the doctor… maybe. I was in a very bright room. I felt really hot. I started screaming. Well, I tried to scream at least, but instead a really high-pitched little noise came out. I felt like I couldn’t breathe again. What was going on with me? I just wanted to know what had happened. No one knew, and apparently no one would ever know...

Nature

The trees stretched up into the sky like skyscrapers. The sky was as clear as a crystal. It was a perfect day. I heard the bluebirds singing their beautiful melodies to the beat of my heart. Then I saw a crowd of people, of friends. I ran over quickly hoping to join in the conversation. Then I saw him, and it was as if the world had turned upside down. It grew quiet. All I could hear was his voice and the whisper of the wind. His eyes brown like the new mulch. I could hear nothing see nothing, but him. It seemed as if the trees grown away, and the birds beautiful melody was heard as clear as the water. No movement. My heart fell down the stairs into my stomach. I couldn’t take another step. I was as silent as the grass, slowly swaying in the wind. I tried to walk a few steps, but then I felt my feet grow heavy, as if I was sinking in quicksand. I was frozen. He grew closer like the weeds in my yard grew to my house. A few more steps and I have gone under. It was as if my body was fully engulfed in flames as I began to burn up. I couldn’t take another step. I had fallen into the spell of the earth. My feet planted to the ground like the flowers were planted to the earth. He was a few feet away, The world froze like ice. Then he passed by, my heart sank into my feet as I realized he wasn’t coming for me.

The Good Old Days

Why can’t today be just like the good old days. When life was simple. No girl had to worry about how she looked, or what other people thought of her… But that was before girls started liking boys in 4th grade, they got into makeup in 5th, and now dates in 6th. What’s wrong with us. Why can’t people judge others by their personality, not their looks. Sometimes I wish no one could see. Then the people would actually like me. No one could judge me by how I looked. Maybe for just one day, we could stop looking at each other, and stop to get to know one another. Maybe if you would stop paying attention to her body then you could really stop and listen. Just give her a chance. Give me a chance. Just for a moment in time. We can stop, and they can really listen. Listen to her for merely a second. A moment... A lifetime

Guilt

Guilt is a strong word, A strong feeling. To feel guilt is to truly feel shame. Like you have done something terrible, and it's killing you inside. Your insides are pouring out, everyone can see. They see that guilty look on your face. Why don't you just go away.
