Ode to Insomnia

You and I

Are back and forth

Blanket me with chaos

Like love and war

Cradle me

With the comfort

Of sweet memories

Dreams are leaving me

I wake up screaming

with latent energy

I bleed in life

and heal through sleep

Yet sleep never comes to me

Its grabbing waters

with infected hands

Its sufforcating

In tons of sands

Sleep escapes me

Insomnia is real

My wakefulness

It seeks to kill

The Curse of Beauty - The Haunted Lake

She bathed in the pool left from a wondrous waterfall

Her precious skin glistening from the warm waters

The world was inlove with her as the birds watched

her bathe and the sun kissed her freckled face.

But beauty is a double bladed edge. Unwanted eyes came

upon her flesh. Unaware, he watched her undress,

A pig infested with greed, He could no longer resist.

She is taken to a place where gods grace does not shine

her body is chained, her spirit remains, her soul is left behind

Now she haunts the lake, chasing off people until she finds

revenge on that man. It's death for his crimes.

Jessica RIP

Based off true story. If I had summoned the courage to talk to her, i wonder if maybe she wouldn't have taken her life away.

She said goodbye

Like she was ready to die

I could see it in her eyes

Death by suicide

She takes her last breath

As she forgives her regrets

And through death alone

She can finally forget

The pain, the everlasting pain

Finally goes away

As I watch her cry

One last time, in the rain

I scream out to her

But she cant seem to hear

A bullet through her head

Ends her worse fears

The blood is washed away

By raindrops that came

Down and steady

Across her lifeless face

She's gone

Forever lost

To god and heaven

Up above

Scars

Time will heal your wounds

but the scars will remain

I howl up at the moon

but the stars swim away

Closure.

I killed a man. I buried his body by the grand oak tree. But now that oak tree haunts me. It’s claws reaching out for me. I’m afraid this man is not dead. Every night when the bell rings midnight, I dig him up to check. His eyes are closed, and he doesn’t say a word to me. I can hear him breathe. Every breath, asking me.. Why did you murder me? I tell him… I tell him everything.

I spy

I spy...with my little eye.. something like

a butterfly, the twilight of my mind

I become blind from the way that she shines

I pray to the skies one day she'll be mine
