A DREAM.

You must have heard about it in songs or seen it in movies. 

What they say or show is far from what it is... 

Its another realm of the living.

Another realm where your imagination is in charge.

Its the world were fiction is reality. 

It can be a noun and a verb at the same time. 

In a darkness that is thick enough to touch a dream is real enough to live, 

Oh how is it that in the darkness you see so clearly,

and how in unconsciousness you are awake and alive. 

But it all goes away as this world pulls you back, 

when reality as we know it beckons for your consciousness,

when you awaken from the only portal to the other other side,

from sleep.
