Enough

I wasn't.

Then I was.

everything I thought I wanted to be.

everything they said it would take,

I did it.

but even then,

I wasn't.

still invisible, still less than, still mediocre.

until I wasn't.

I was.

I am.

my biggest fan, my cheerleader, my support.

It was me all along.

I became the butterfly I always wanted to be,

when I stopped living for them

and started living for me.
