Do you look for me everywhere like I look for you?

Chastising myself as I'm doing it

Attempting to push the thoughts of us from my mind

Reminding myself of why we don't work

The pain

The hurt

The distance

These facts obscured by memories of content naked bodies twisted up in sheets

Of laughter and silliness in our tiny bubble we created

Away from the real world

The world we weren't able to face together
