I've been in love enough to know

The dull pang molds you eventually.

You were electricity and I was water.

Dangerous.

I let you flow through me freely.

Life is a constant stream of electricity;

You were just the first to show me I'd Been stagnant.

Slowly evaporating into something

I didn't recognize anymore.

You made me remember who I was.

A shower on a summer's day.

A rapid river current, constantly Changing.

A violent storm lost at sea.

You saw who I was before I knew it Myself.
