From The Start

She was young.

Too young to know what love was and

too young to say no, so she lost

herself at ten years old in the

middle of an elementary school

playground.

I think it was her fairytale

heart and the wonder in her eyes

that sent her reeling.

She started falling right when she

saw him and she could never

find her way back to solid ground.

It wasn't fair.

The tenderness in his voice and the

way his eyes lit up when he stared at

her, left her helpless.

At the mercy of his advances, she

fell into him.

Weak.
