Summer Lady

Gracious.

Her smile is warmth,

Her laughter is contagious.

Her words like a lullaby.

Eyes glittering with kindness.

She perceives the good

When trash is abound.

Patience escapes her as she drives.

But that's alright.

She is loved.

Unique to her Father.

In her friendship I find slumber.

In her loyalty I bask.

I think of the day when she will go home.

Oh how I'll miss her.

But we'll be forever close.
